 About Food For Your Eyes

 Food For Your Eyes is a self initiated project founded and run by Paris based independent curator, producer and art consultant Nathalie Belayche.

Nathalie Belayche works collaboratively with photographers,  independent publishers, galleries, photo festivals and venues to promote, produce and exhibit photography projects with emphasis on the photobook and independent publishing. Read more about past and current projects 

Food For Your Eyes was born in  2007 as a platform to promote young photographers through exhibitions, slideshows projections, publications, social media and curated web based projects. 

In addition to work on self initiated and commisioned projects, Nathalie Belayche advises photographers and students (Hoogeschool Sint Lukas in Brussels, Emerging Photographers Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Speos Photography School in Paris), and participates in portfolio reviews at various International photography festivals and events during the last 10years (Paris FotoFest, Rhubarb-Rhubarb in Birmingham, Rencontres d'Arles, Voies Off , Vienna Month of Photography, Photo festival Circulations ... )

As a writer she has contributed articles to magazines (such as  Images magazine and The Eyes magazine in France) and to online publications (1000 Words Magazine on Contemporary Photography ; Future of photobook by Flak Photo ; Wandering Bears; Africa in Visu)

In the Summer of 2013, Nathalie Belayche has been  guest curator in Residence in Finland at Photographic Centre Nykyaika for Backlight Photo Festival 2014.

Relocated in Montpellier in Southern France  through 2014-2015, she worked for Boutographies Photo Festival 2015 as Press & Media manager and program consultant. In this context, she organized KIOSK,  an event  including  a self published photobooks showcase, a pop up bookshop and meetings with photobook players and designers hosted at La Panacée, the city contmporary art center.
